The Element Wins Project of the Year at the 2017 VIBE Awards

The 2017 Vancouver Island Building Excellence (VIBE) Awards Gala was held on April 1st and we were very please to have received four Gold VIBE awards for two of our projects this year!

The Element was awarded three Gold VIBE awards for:

• Project of the Year

• Best Single Family Home 3000 – 4500 sq.ft.

• Best Outdoor Living Space

The Atrium Beach House was awarded Gold for:

• Best Single Family Kitchen – New over $50,000

We were pleased to share these awards with fine home builder TS Williams Construction and send congratulations to all of the award recipients and finalist!

Gold CARE Award for The Element

This month KB Design was pleased to attend the 25th Anniversary Celebration of the VRBA CARE Awards, where our project, The Element, received a Gold CARE award for Best Single Family Detached Home over $2,000,000. We were honoured to accept and share this award with the builder TS Williams Construction.

More than 50 awards were presented at the 2016 CARE Awards gala evening, held on October 1st and attended by almost 300 builders, renovators, designers, trades, suppliers – members of the Victoria Residential Builders Association.

We’d like to take this opportunity to congratulate all of the award finalists and recipients. It was a remarkable year with many stunning projects selected for recognition. We’re proud to have been a part of it!

Project of the Year at the 2016 VIBE Awards

We’re so pleased to announce that Hawks Nest won Project of the Year at the 2016 Vancouver Island Building Excellence (VIBE) Awards.

This year the Gala was held on April 16th at the Vancouver Island Conference Centre in Nanaimo. Entries were received from companies all over Vancouver Island and an esteemed panel of industry professionals and longtime CHBA members from outside Vancouver Island judged the entries.

There was much to celebrate and we, gratefully, share this award with builder and project partner, Jason Powel Construction. We’d also like to take this opportunity to congratulate all the 2016 finalists and winners!

Hawks Nest was also a finalist in the following VIBE Award categories:

• Best Single Family Home over 3,000 sq.ft.

• Best Innovative Feature – New or Renovation

Hawks Nest Wins Project of the Year at 2015 CARE Awards

KB Design is thrilled to announce that our project Hawks Nest received 5 Gold CARE Awards including Project of the Year and Best Home Design, which we are especially proud of.

We shared four of these awards with custom home builder Jason Powell Construction and all of them with the delighted home owner, who was able to attend the Gala event held at the Empress Hotel in Victoria and joined in the celebrations!

Being able to share this recognition with our client is such an honour. Without them none of this would be possible…it all begins with the client’s vision and their trust in us to bring it to fruition.

The evening was made even more special when Abstract Developments won two Gold CARE Awards, one for Vue Four, a beautiful West Coast contemporary home in Moss Rock Park designed by KB Design, and one for the subdivision, Vue.

We’d also like to congratulate all the other Gold Award winners and the Silver finalists for another year of quality and achievement in the construction industry. Such amazing talent on Vancouver Island. Thank you to VRBA for another wonderful evening!
