Among the many things that I love about the work that I get to do is the interesting and inspiring clients that I get to meet and work for. This past year I had the privileged of working with Chantal and Mike Schauch, designing them an environmentally conscious home in Squamish BC.
Getting to know my client’s personal lives, interests and passions helps me to design them a home that meets them on many levels and allows them to truly live in the space. This is an integral part of the design process and has some added side benefits as well, namely I get to be inspired by my clients.
Chantal and Mike are passionate about the environment and have combined their love of the outdoors with film making to bring awareness to the fragility of many areas of this world that need protection. In truth, they can tell you more fully about their purpose in this Indiegogo Campaign, as they raise funds for their Adventure Documentary ‘Colours of Edziza’.
I am proud to be a supporter of this campaign and would also like to take this opportunity to thank Chantal and Mike for trusting me with the task of bringing their vision for a conscious home to life.
