Fenix – An Architectural Oasis
Tucked in a well established neighborhood, a breathtaking, one-level residence redefines oceanfront living with a bold architectural language and an unrelenting commitment to detail. Designed for both sophisticated living and serene retreat, this home is a true sanctuary—sculptural, functional, and deeply connected to its natural surroundings.
From the moment you arrive, the home makes an unforgettable impression. A massive cantilevered canopy reaches out to welcome guests, leading to a front entry framed with dramatic floor-to-ceiling tiles. Step inside, and your gaze is drawn through the home to the sparkling ocean beyond.
At the heart of the structure is a monolithic stone wall—a near-continuous spine that runs the width of the home, dividing it right to left. A series of skylights above are strategically placed to downlight and accentuate the textures of the natural stone wall. Here, form and utility merge seamlessly
The floor plan gently curves, creating a glass arc that opens the home to uninterrupted ocean views. Soaring ceilings elevate the ambience and natural light floods the interiors, accentuating the craftsmanship throughout the home.
The open-concept living, dining, and kitchen areas are expansive and fluid, anchored by a long linear fireplace with a built-in TV subtly integrated at one end. This is a space suited to quiet evenings or large gatherings, framed by art and warmed by natural materials.
Occupying the entire right wing of the home, the master suite is a haven of comfort and design. A double-sided fireplace brings warmth to both the bedroom and ensuite. The bathroom is a showpiece in itself, with a large shower facing a picture window, a bathtub positioned perfectly to take in the view, and a custom cast-in-place concrete sink with dual troughs. Two walk-in closets flank the space, designed with partial-height walls to let light filter throughout the suite.
The rest of the home is designed with the same meticulous care. Along the ocean-facing facade lies a generous family and TV room that doubles as an art gallery, its walls and lighting perfect for displaying a rotating collection. Beyond that, a tranquil office with L-shaped windows offers a quiet place to work or read.
There’s a small gym, a playful rec room outfitted with pinball, a pool table, and another TV area, as well as a versatile spare room at the far end—ideal for guests or additional creative space. Two more guest bedrooms each feature their own ensuite baths, while a stylish 2-piece powder room serves the main living area. Mudrooms and laundry rooms are located at either end of the house for maximum convenience.
Set slightly apart from the main residence, a fully integrated guest cottage forms part of a larger accessory building. Additionally, this beautifully cohesive structure includes a garage, art studio and a pottery studio. All interconnected, this secondary structure supports both creative pursuits and comfortable hosting—equally suited for long stays, workshops, or simply additional storage and garage space.
At the rear of the property lies one of the home’s most unique features: a natural, swimmable pond. Designed with plant-based filtration, it blends seamlessly with the landscape, offering a peaceful retreat that invites quiet moments.
Oceanfront living is the crowning element of Fenix. Curved glass walls draw the outside in, creating a constant dialogue between architecture and sea. But at its core, this home was designed for an art collector—with gallery-like wall space, controlled lighting, and architectural flourishes that double as sculptural features. Yet it never loses its sense of livability.
Every element—from the generous kitchen to the dual mudrooms and multiple gathering spaces—has been considered through the lens of everyday luxury. This is not just a home. It’s a living, breathing piece of architecture—rooted in nature, steeped in artistry, and crafted for a deeply personal way of life.
